Our school is located in the heart of the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, California.
We place a great deal of importance on the school environment and consider it the child’s “third teacher.” Teachers carefully prepare the environment with a variety of materials presented in a manner that encourages children to be agents in developing understandings, exploring new possibilities, and asking new questions.
As Vea Vecchi writes, the child has a “right to an environment that is rich, multifaceted, complex, well-tended, and beautiful.”
